Doctor Who Experience: Colin Baker Q&A and Dalek Week

Colin Baker will be participating in a special Q&A session at the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff next month, on Saturday 10 October.

The actor, who played the Sixth Doctor from 1984-86, has since returned to the role in numerous official audio stories by Big Finish Productions, including the recent The Last Adventure - which finally revealed the circumstances behind his character's regeneration into Sylvester McCoy's Seventh Doctor. In 2013 Baker also appeared alongside Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy in fiftieth anniversary spoof The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, which was filmed in part at the Doctor Who Experience.

There will be photo and signing opportunities during the day, and the event has no additional charge, as it is included in the price of a standard ticket. For more information about the Experience and to book tickets, visit the official website.

Additionally, following the return of the Daleks and their creator Davros in the two-part opener of the new series, the Doctor Who Experience is to host a Dalek Day event on Saturday 24 October, followed by a 'Dalek Week' of half term activities for fans and families. Visitors to the Experience will be able to:

  • Get up close to the Daleks, who will be roaming throughout the Experience
  • See the Daleks which featured in the opening two-parter of the 2015 series
  • Learn how to operate a Dalek and take part in a Q&A session with a Dalek operator
  • See the unveiling of the restored original Davros, as part of the Doctor Who Experience's refurbishment programme

Further details on Dalek Week will follow next week.
